Enrichment also extends to art, baking and soccer, providing holistic and well-rounded learning experiences.
Robotics Competition Team
Montessori Schoolhouse's Robotics Competition Team is part of the Aerial Drone Competition, Mission 2025: Gravity, sponsored by the REC Foundation. Students ages 10 and older participate in this STEM-focused program, where they learn drone piloting, coding, and problem-solving through hands-on activities. The team receives specialized equipment, including drone robots and obstacle courses, to practice and refine their skills. They meet weekly on Wednesdays from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm to prepare for the competition, which will be held in Tampa. This program encourages teamwork, innovation, and technical proficiency, providing students with a unique platform to develop future-ready skills.

The Art program at Montessori Schoolhouse provides students with opportunities to explore various artistic techniques and mediums. Through projects that often align with classroom themes or cultural events, students develop creativity, self-expression, and problem-solving skills. Whether working with paint, clay, or mixed media, they are encouraged to express their ideas while learning about different artistic styles and cultural traditions, fostering a deeper connection to the world around them.
Soccer Program
The Soccer program at Montessori Schoolhouse promotes physical fitness, coordination, and teamwork. Students engage in structured drills, exercises, and games designed to enhance their soccer skills, from passing and dribbling to strategy and teamwork. In addition to developing athletic abilities, the program instills values of sportsmanship, leadership, and perseverance, giving students the confidence to succeed on and off the field.

Baking Program
The Baking program offers students hands-on culinary experience, where they learn how to follow recipes, measure ingredients, and practice kitchen safety. Led by Ms. Elizabeth, students have enjoyed activities such as baking Oreo cupcakes, gaining practical skills in the kitchen while having fun. This program fosters creativity, patience, and responsibility, as students take pride in preparing and sharing the delicious results of their work with others.
